APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University organized a one day workshop on Enhancing the Quality of Assessment for Faculty Members of MBA on 03 August, 2022. Dr Rajesh S Pyngavil, Dr Jubi R, Dr Priya Prasad, Dr Sulaipher M and Dr Bitha S Mani attended the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to train the faculty members of management in different institutions in the directions of Outcome Based Education. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr Rajasree M S, Vice Chancellor, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in the presence of Dr S Ayoob, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr Praveen, Registrar, Dr Shalij P R, Dean (Academics) and Dr Gopakumar P, IQAC Coordinator. The sessions were handled by Dr Dr Praveen, Registrar, KTU on the topic design thinking for OBE. In this session the resource person explained the relevance of design thinking process in teaching – learning- evaluation process. The second session was handled by Dr L S Ganesh, Professor, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) , Madras. In his session, Prof Genesh discussed about Bloom’s Taxonomy and how it can be linked with Indian education system. He stated the importance of balancing formative and summative assessment in management education. The session was highly interesting and informative.
