International Women’s Day

On March 7, 2024, Rajadhani Business School orchestrated a poignant celebration in honor of International Women’s Day, commemorating the resilience, achievements, and significance of women across the globe. The event, tailored for MBA students, served as a platform to recognize the invaluable contributions of women and advocate for gender equality within the academic community and beyond. The ceremony commenced with an aura of dignity and reverence as esteemed guests and faculty members graced the occasion. Ms. Maithri Srikant (Entrepreneur, Vedhika Fashions), adorned with the mantle of the chief guest, epitomized the spirit of empowerment and progression. Alongside the guest stood Mr. Rajit Karunakaran, the Director of RBS, Mr. Mahesh Krishna, Principal of Rajadhani Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (RIHMCT), Head of the Department Dr. Priya Prasad, and Associate Professors Dr. Bitha S. Mani and Dr. Anjaly H. Their collective presence underscored the institution’s commitment to fostering an environment of gender inclusivity and empowerment.

The celebration commenced with the evocative preview of the “Sthree Anthem,” a poignant ode to the strength and resilience of women.

A pinnacle of the event was the conferral of the prestigious “Sukrithi – Women of Substance Award” upon Ms. Maithri Srikant by our esteemed Director.

In a poignant denouement to the celebration, participants collectively took an oath pledging their steadfast commitment to combat the societal scourge of dowry. This solemn declaration resonated deeply with the audience, reaffirming the institution’s staunch stance against gender-based violence and discrimination, and its unwavering dedication to fostering a culture of respect, equality, and justice.
