ABOUT RBS
Rajadhani Business School (Department of Business Administration), is one of the vibrant departments of Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET), under the aegis of the Indira Charitable Trust. The B-School offers a full-time MBA program approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum. RBS was established in 2013 with an intake of 60, which was upgraded to 120 in 2015. In 2023, AICTE offered to start an MBA in Shipping & Logistics Management with an intake of 60 seats. Now, RBS offers full-time post-graduate MBA programs: the MBA Regular (12th Batch) and MBA in Shipping & Logistics Management (2nd Batch). RBS boasts excellent infrastructure and a conducive learning environment.
The B-School has proven its mettle in various curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. The first three batches (2013-15, 2014-16, & 2015-17) secured a total of 22 university ranks, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions. The results of 2016-18, 2017-19, and 2018-20 are also very encouraging, with many students achieving ‘O’ (Outstanding) grades in numerous subjects. The B-School offers a plethora of add-on and cornerstone courses to enrich students’ potential, including SAP, MS Excel, Apple iWork, Artificial Intelligence, and Distribution and Logistics Management.
To equip students with the right conceptual foundation, analytical skills, knowledge application ability, managerial, and team skills, the activities at RBS are kept relevant to the dynamics of the changing business environment. With social sensitivity at its core, the emphasis is on experiential learning and holistic development. The business school follows a hybrid teaching-learning approach, which includes classroom lectures, case analysis, simulation exercises, internships, projects, and an international immersion program. The various activities under each of these dimensions help RBSites evolve as true corporate citizens professionally competent, socially sensitive, and globally sensible individuals.
