An Online orientation session was conducted on 18/06/2022 by Rajadhani Business School along with Hedge School of Applied Economics. The resource persons for the program were Ms. Mariam, Vice President –Hedge and Mr. Jaison Philip Varghese, Research Analyst Head school of Applied Economics. The topic of discussion was “Career opportunities in Finance”. The programme was started at 10 am. Along with the resource persons Dr. Rajesh S Pyngavil- HOD Rajadhani Business School, Mr. Deepu Sajeev- Placement Officer Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Renju Remesh- Placement Co-Ordinator Rajadhani Business School and MBA S2 students attended the program. In the beginning of the session Mr. Jaison Philip Varghese briefly describe about the various certification courses that a finance career prefers and the various career deviations that a finance enthusiastic student can choose and how to attain the same. He briefly explains about the various careers’ opportunities provided by different MNC in the area of finance. The session was an interactive one. Participants asked several questions regarding placement and certification courses and the supports provided by Hedge for the certifications. After that session a session was taken by Ms. Meera and Ms. Mariam regarding the placement supports from Hedge and the assured placement for interns of Hedge as well as the duration and certification programmes at Hedge. The session was end up with a formal vote of thanks.
