The Inauguration of the PMI Kerala Student Chapter was successfully conducted at RIET, followed by a workshop on Project Management as a Life Skill. The program began with a Welcome Address by Ms. Vidhya S., Assistant Professor, RBS ,  Mr. George Thomas, Director, RBS, offered the Special Address.

The official inauguration was marked by the ceremonial lighting of the Nilavilakku. The Keynote Address was delivered by Mr. Johnson Samuel, Vice President (Outreach), PMI, highlighting the importance of project management in academic and professional growth.

The workshop session was handled by Mr. Jayakishore S. R., Past President, PMI Kerala Chapter, who emphasized planning, leadership, teamwork, and time management as essential life skills. The session was interactive and informative.

The program concluded with felicitation of the guests and a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Vincent Varghese, Professor & Head, RBS. The event was well-organized and beneficial, enhancing students’ awareness of professional project management practices and leadership development.
