International Immersion Programme to Malaysia

Rajadhani Business School organised an International Immersion Programme for MBA S4 students to Malaysia from 4-8 July, 2022. The programme was attended 78 students and 4 faculty members. The objective of the programme, the students is exposed to international business environment and cultures that are different from their home business environment. This helps them in being better prepared for careers in a highly dynamic global business world. The 5 days programme includes Interactive Programme at University of Putra, Malaysia, visit to Selangor Pewter Factory, Harriston Chocolate Factory and Beryl’s Chocolate Malaysia.  

Students’ Conclave at University of Putra, Malaysia

On 6th July, the students and faculty members were welcomed by the officials at the University for the Students’ Conclave on the board theme Business Sustainability – The Role of Science, Technology and Business.  The programme was started by the brief introduction about the programme. Dr Jubi R Professor, Rajadhani Business School has presented a paper on “Intrapreneurship – A Road Map of Success” Dr Priya Prasad, Associate Professor, RBS has presented a paper on “Women Leadership – A Gender Equality Approach” The sessions were quite interactive. The sessions were followed by a detailed session Dr Sudesh Prabhakaran (Head, Business Development), University of Putra on the topic,” Business Sustainability – The Role of Science, Technology and Business Sustainability “.The students actively participated in the activities as well as in the conference. The students were provided the certificates and the session came to an end by 4.00 pm.

Industrial Visits 

Industrial/ company visits were also arranged as part of the International Immersion Programme. The first visit was on 5th July, 2022. The visit was conducted to Selangor Pewter Factory.  Selangor’s repertoire of skills in the decorative arts is represented through our sister companies. Famed for fine silverware, Comyns is also renowned for its interpretive works, particularly those of Paul de Lamerie – one of the leading silversmiths of 18th century England. Selberan specializes in creating 18 k gold and diamond jewelers that follows the European approach to craftsmanship.A visits to Berly’S Chocolate Factory and Harriston Chocolate Factory were also arranged, in which the students were provided with the working of the plant well in detail.

Apart from University Interaction Programme and Industrial Visits, students also had a great fun by visiting some tourist places. The various places were KL Tower, Twin Towers, Batu Caves, King’s Palace, National Monument, Aquaria and Berjaya Times Square.
