St John Ambulance India in association with Rajadhani Business School and Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology organised a one day training programm on First Aid for MBA and B Tech students on 30 November, 2021.

St. John Ambulance is a Non – Religious, Non – Political, Non – Sectarian, Secular Service Organisation covering fifty countries of the world. It is the oldest service agency of international repute. The event was inaugurated by Dr S Suresh Babu, Principal, Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology by traditional lamp lighting. Dr Rajesh S Pyngavil, Professor & Head, Rajadhani Business School welcomed the guests, dignitaries and participants. All sessions were handled by experts in different domain areas. The training programme was divided into 3 sections viz, First Aid related Cardiac, First Aid related to Diabetics and First Aid related to orthopaedics. The first session was handled by Dr Jayapal V, Chairman, Hridayala Heart Foundation, Trivandrum. Second session was handled by Dr Thomas Issac, Nimala Hospital, Trivandrum and the third session by Sri Edwin Moses, Govt. Fort Hospital (Retd.), Trivandrum. Sri K R Raj, General Secretary, St John Ambulance India and Sri E K Sugathan, Joint Secretary, St John Ambulance India were also present. An examination was also conducted to examine the understanding by students regarding various sessions. Dr Bindu S S, Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering proposed vote of thanks.
