PMI ACADEMIC FORUM CONCLAVE - WINGS 2020

Project Management Institute (PMI) is the world’s largest project management member association, representing more than half a million practitioners over 80 countries. As a global thought leader and knowledge resource, PMI advances the professional through its global standards and credentials, collaborative chapters’ ad communities of practice and academic research. PMI Kerala chapter is the local chapter of PMI serving the project management community since 2003, conducting preparing trainings for various PMI credentials, seminars, conferences and other professional development events.
PMI Kerala Chapter organised a state wide academic forum conclave Wings 2020 on 7 March, 2020 to host a platform to bring together students and faculty members of business schools and practitioners from academia and industry. The event was organised at Hotel Residency Tower, Trivandrum. The aim of the conclave was to draw together eminent academicians, practitioners, and aspiring project management professionals to share their perspectives and learn about the latest trends in the industry. Wings played host to over 170 delegates from various industries, senior academicians, and students.
The event of attended by Prof (Dr) Rajesh S Pyngavil, Professor & Head, RBS, Dr Vishnu Asokan, Assistant Professor & PMI Academic Forum Coordinator and Academic Forum members. The key speakers were Mr. S Somanath, Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum. Mr. Prasanth Nair, IAS, Kerala Shipping & Inland Navigation Corporation, Dr Simon Morrison, Dy Director, Department of Health Sciences, Government of Kerala, Mr. Sreekanth Arimanithaya, Director, EY GDS Global Leader and Mr. Salil J Ambat, Associate Director, DXC Technologies A Business Quiz was also organised as part of this event.
