Rajadhani Business School, in association with Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology organized a three days faculty development programme on Social Entrepreneurship: Business innovation for Social Transformation from 25-27 July 2019. The event was sponsored by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.  The objective of the FDP is to impart knowledge and develop skills in diverse training methods in training to students and entrepreneurship on sustainability. The programme was attended by 30 delegates from different engineering and management institutes affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. They were enlightened about how important it is to nurture social entrepreneurship in the young minds of the students. Faculty members from Bishop Jerome Institute of Management Kollam, Hindustan College of Engineering Thenmala , Mangalam College of Engineering, Kottayam, CET School of Management Trivandrum, MES College of Engineering Kuttipuram, Muslim Association College of Engineering Venjaramoodu, Saintsgist Institute of Management Kottayam, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Kanjirappally, Rajadhani Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology Trivandrum attended the FDP. The resource persons for various session included Dr Prasanthkumar Nellical, Head (CSR), Muthoot Pappachan Group, Dr K R Shaiju, District Mission Coordinator Kudumbasree, Mr Vinod Subramaniam, Managing Director, Alterniet Lifestyles (P) Ltd, Dr Binu Sam John, Sr. Scientist & Head, Mitraniketan KVK, Mr. Sooraj Abraham, Founder & Director, Plan@Earth, Prof Rajit K Nair, Director and Dr Rajesh S Pyngavil, Professor & Head, Radadhani Business School. A visit to Mitraniketan Community Village was also been arranged as part of the FDP.
